Revitalize Your Skin – 7 Simple Basic Tips for Healthy Skin

Posted under healthy looking skin by admin on Tuesday 9 March 2010

Are you sick and tired of… sensitive, dry lifeless skin. Well, there’s usually a reason, maybe your lifestyle habits are out of sync. Look over the following 7 simple basic tips for healthy skin to see if you need to make any adjustments.

Tip 1. Do you realize that apart from natural aging, UV-A sunrays are the most destructive element damaging your skin. We all need a little sun for vitamin D. But, be sensible and cover up, wear a hat and apply a block out when exposed to the sun.

Tip 2. Your skin’s the biggest organ of your body… most people don’t hydrate and moisturize it enough. Get into the habit of drinking more water and applying hydrating and moisturizing creams daily, especially if you have dry sensitive skin.

Tip 3.  Get plenty of rest and do more exercise… Do you get enough sleep? Reduced sleep will impact your body generally, particularly skin and bags under and around your eyes. If you’re overweight, do some moderate exercise daily, lose a few pounds and get fitter. If you smoke – Stop!

Tip 4. You are what you eat… so the saying goes. If you have a high sugar and fat diet your skin will suffer. The odd hamburger now and again is okay. But, your skin needs vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants. Where do you get them naturally – fruit and vegetables.

Tip 5. Protect your skin… Your skin gets thinner as you get older. A knock, tear or rip damage takes longer to heal. Capillaries are close to the skin surface and bleed at the slightest knock. When doing physical work or gardening wear thick long sleeved gloves to protect your hands and arms. Also wear a strong hat to protect you face and scalp from damage.

Tip 6. Start a regular skin care regime using natural skin care creams. Your skin needs hydrating and moisturizing daily with emollients, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals and natural oils. Some good ingredients are:

Emollients… Cegesoft PFO, Cetiol PGL, Crodamol MM, Crodamazon Maracuja, D-Panthenol.

Anti-oxidants… Macadamia oil, Coenzyme Q10 in Nano-Lipobelle H-EQ10 nano emulsion form.

Natural Oils… Avocado oil, Jojoba oil, Babassu oil, Grapeseed oil, Shea butter.

Tip 7. Use good quality natural skin care creams that can stimulate and thicken your collagen and elastin protein matrix, and also re-invigorate your skin giving it more elasticity. Some ingredients to look for are.

Cynergy TK containing functional keratin, Nano-Lipobelle H-EQ10, Avocado oil, Phytessence Wakame, Active Manuka honey, With Hazel extract, Allantoin, Homeo Age.

Finally, If you follow these tips for healthy skin you should expect and improvement in skin texture and strength in a reasonably short period of time, also you will have a healthier more youthful looking skin.

At my website, I discuss more issues relating to healthy skin care substances, and other great new cutting edge ingredients that you may be interested to learn about.

What is the Best Vitamin for Healthy Hair and Skin?

Posted under healthy looking skin by admin on Wednesday 3 March 2010

Ever wondered what is the best vitamin for healthy hair and skin? There are actually a number of vitamins and other nutrients that are important to the skin’s health and the appearance of the hair. Here’s a quick look at the subject.

Generally speaking, all of the nutrients necessary to support that health of the rest of the body are needed to support the skin’s health. Referring to the hair’s health is somewhat misleading, as the hair is not living tissue. A hair follicle, on the other hand, is a highly active part of the skin.

Follicles are located in the dermis, which is located below the epidermis and above the fatty subcutaneous tissue. The follicles perform several functions, including the following:

1.    contain the sebaceous glands, which secrete sebum for lubricating and moisturizing the skin and hair
2.    form hairs by packing old protein rich cells together
3.    provide an outlet for both sebum and perspiration
4.    assists in controlling body temperature

In some types of baldness, the follicles become blocked with plugs of dead skin-cells. Cosmetic surgeons have had some success in treating baldness by removing these plugs.

Most people would say that the best vitamin for healthy hair and skin is vitamin E. While it is important, protein is probably the most important dietary element, because both the hair and the skin are composed of protein. Hairs are actually protein filaments. The skin’s outermost layer is composed of tightly packed dead protein-rich cells laid in a fashion similar to that of brickwork.

A specific kind of protein composes 95% of the epidermis and is the primary component of the hairs in humans. The protein is called keratin. The cells of the body create keratin by packing together chains of amino acids.

So, if you are taking the best vitamin for healthy hair and skin, you would want it to contain amino acids. If you were applying something directly, you would want it to contain keratin.

You would also practice good hygiene habits, to help prevent the pores from becoming blocked. Use a mild shampoo that includes natural, non-toxic ingredients. Toxic material passes through the skin’s many layers. These toxins can damage the cells, as well as the follicles.

In addition to taking the best vitamin for healthy hair and skin, you should also consider at nutritive face cream to delay and counter the signs of age. In clinical studies, a cream containing a bio-active form of keratin was shown to stimulate the production of new cells by over 160%, increase firmness by over 40%, reduce inflammation and accompanying redness by 70% and improve the skin’s ability to retain moisture.

Whether you have dryness, oiliness or some combination of the two, using a moisturizer is still important, as cleansers remove oils and moisture. To avoid greasiness or blemishes, you want a lotion that contains natural vegetable oils like grape seed and if it also contains keratin, you’ll be looking younger in no time.

So there you have it. The best vitamin for healthy hair and skin is actually a multi-nutritional supplement that supports the body’s overall health, by including vitamins, minerals and amino acids. That’s what to look for.

How can i have really healthy looking skin?

Posted under healthy looking skin by admin on Monday 1 March 2010

Drink a lot of water. Stay away from really salty/fatty foods like fast food, potato chips, etc. Make sure you wash your face every morning before going along with your day (in the shower is fine if you wash your face there. I do (: ) and before you go to bed at night. Don’t wash your face more than twice a day, your skin will dry up and might break out! This is just for your face, as for the rest of your body you just need to moisturize it (: I usually put lotion on my arms, legs, face and feet every night before I go to bed. After showering I usually just put it on my hands and sometimes face since I usually get dry skin on my hands and face. I hope this helped (:
Oh and eat a lot of vegetables! I’ve heard apples and carrots are really good for your skin!

How to Have Healthy Aging Skin Without Resorting to Heavy Chemicals

Posted under healthy looking skin by admin on Sunday 28 February 2010

Many people are finding different ways on how to have healthy aging skin. Nowadays, you can choose from a wide variety of skincare treatments anywhere, which promise you to be younger looking. Most of the products claim that they are the best treatments for aging skin but only few can live to these claims. The most effective skincare treatments are those that have natural components that are safer to use.

With the many treatments, therapies and surgical procedures, defying age with the most natural method is still the best. This includes consuming good foods, having good sleeping habits and living an active way of life. Best treatments for aging skin is not necessarily those expensive skincare products but preventing the damaging effects of harmful factors that can cause premature aging. Smoking is known to be one of the main factors of having wrinkles and fine lines. In addition, smoking has other dangerous effects to our health including lung cancer and other diseases. Make an effort to stop smoking to slow down the appearance of premature wrinkles.

Washing face habitually is not necessary when you are older. Acne and oiliness is no longer a problem with old age, but dryness. If you wash your face with soap frequently, it may result to dryness. Using warm water on your face is one way on how to have healthy aging skin. In addition, it is necessary to remove make up in the evening before sleeping. Skincare treatment are literally everywhere and it is a fact that most of these treatments do not have strong effective ingredients. For instance, an effective anti-wrinkle agent is vitamin E and a good skincare product must contain at least one-half percent of the total treatment product. There are only few skincare treatments that have enough vitamin E.

It is necessary to use the best treatments for aging skin regularly to get the best benefits. You cannot get the outmost effect if you only use your moisturize once in a while. Make sure to use your skincare treatment regularly and faithfully. In addition, moisturizers are more absorbed when skin is a little warm and moist. Skincare creams are better used right after taking a shower. Remember to take care of your skin gently.

One of the best treatments for aging skin is drinking filtered water to help in eliminating body toxins. Filtered water also helps in losing weight, and moisturizing the body from the inside, making it healthy and soft. Considering your diet is also necessary. Sugary and processed foods must be avoided. Instead, eat plenty of foods that are high in protein such as fish, nuts and meat. If you want to stay young, look young and feel young, a twenty-minute walk everyday is beneficial. Moreover, have an adequate sleep and rest to keep your body healthy.

Nutritional supplements including fish oil capsules are also best treatments for aging skin. Fish oil provides essential fatty acids that help in nourishing the cells and lessen aches and pains. If you are considering skincare products, choose the ones that are chemical free. Chemicals tend to add toxins in the body.

Everyone Wants Smooth Wrinkle Free Healthy Skin – so How Can You Get It?

Posted under healthy looking skin by admin on Thursday 25 February 2010

People spend millions of dollars every day on healthy skin care products… Why do we do it? – Because we all have a natural desire to look as young, healthy and good as possible.

Some fortunate people are born with a great skin; a few others do all the right things and can maintain a great skin. But, most of us are less fortunate or not that motivated, then there are the really unfortunate people who battle with more serious skin problems.

Of the millions of dollars spent each day on healthy skin creams, it’s more than likely the majority of them aren’t going to live up to your expectations. Most people expect a moisturizer to moisturize and hydrate your skin. However, things are changing and people want new skin care products to be able to do more in the way of revitalizing and rejuvenating their skin.

Most natural skin creams will either be good, reasonable or poor at moisturizing and hydrating. Therefore, you need to be astute when making a decision to purchase your next tube of skin cream so you don’t waste your money.

But people’s expectations are becoming more demanding; because the new breed of skin cares creams include substances that can now stimulate new skin cell growth.

Are you aware of new ingredients that can actually stimulate your own collagen and elastin proteins to re-grow? This is a major breakthrough in a skin care product and will change the playing field forever. Big cosmetic companies don’t have this substance available yet, and may not get it for 12 to 18 months.

Therefore, only a few skin care companies have access to this ingredient at the moment. A small New Zealand company developed this new unique new-patented substance called Cynergy TK”(TM)”.

Cynergy TK works by having the ingredient Functional Keratin”(TM)” stimulate your collagen and elastin to re-grow. By increasing the volume and strengthening the structure and elasticity of your skin. Deep wrinkles will gradually be reduced making your skin smoother, more youthful and healthier looking.

If you wish to get more information and further understand this new powerful healthy skin care ingredient, visit my website today.

Using Healthy Skin Anti Wrinkle Cream Before You Need It

Posted under healthy looking skin by admin on Monday 22 February 2010

It is always a good idea to begin your skin care regimen early in life. There are a number of reasons why you should find healthy skin anti wrinkle cream products when there are no signs of wrinkles or fine lines.

The first reason that you should begin early with a high quality skin care regimen is that it will help you to become disciplined about following the skin care routine. If you learn to fit it into your daily schedule when you are young, you will find that the practice carries with you, as you get older. When you are younger there may not be a great need for anti wrinkle skin care products, but they are a good addition to your routine to make sure that your skin is always in the best possible condition.

It is also much easier to work on your skin and keep it healthy than it is to try and make your skin healthy when it is not. In other words, preventing the problems before they begin is a much easier task than treating and curing the problems after they have started. In fact, when it comes to wrinkles there are very few options once your skin has begun to wrinkle and develop fine lines.

You will also become more familiar with your skin type and what kind of products works well on your skin. Many people are not as in touch with their own skin as they should be. They do not understand the effects of certain skin care products on their skin because they have never used them. If you take the time when you are young to experiment with these products you will have a better understanding of your own skin and what kind of products are good for you.

When you take the time to care for your skin when it is healthy, you will find that it will be youthful for a longer period of time. Just as you care for your body, you need to care for the largest organ on your body. Keeping the skin free of toxins and bacteria are part of having healthy skin. Healthy skin anti wrinkle cream products are designed to help you keep a healthy glow for many more years than you would if you did not pay attention to your skin.

It is in everyone’s best interest to take care of their skin and keep it looking healthy for as long as possible. Once your skin begins to age there are more extensive treatments that you can use. Most of the anti wrinkle skin care products on the market are aimed toward older people, but you should be able to find a good moisturizing product that will keep you wrinkle free just as effectively as a specialized cream. Take your time and look around for a healthy skin anti wrinkle cream. Your skin will thank you for it when you begin to age as it moves forward without any signs or wrinkles.

Secret Diets for Healthy Skin Can Give You the Young Skin That All Envy!

Posted under healthy looking skin by admin on Friday 19 February 2010

Diets for healthy skin are not too different from healthy diets for overall body health. But, definitely there are few secret diets for healthy skin which you are unaware of that can give you the beautiful young skin that all others envy!

Broadly speaking, one can achieve beautiful young skin by three ways.

1) By regularly consuming natural diets for healthy skin. Diet plays a major role in skin health. Diet means the foods we consume in our daily routine. This article shall mention a few of these.

2) By inheriting strong genes that have inbuilt traits of beautiful young skin. But, this is where your parents play a bigger role and nothing much can be done about this now.

3) By using anti aging skin care products with naturally proven ingredients that improve the health and vitality of your skin.

The secrets of amazing diets for healthy skin are available for anyone who undertakes some research as is being done by you.

One of the major causes of skin aging is the damage caused by the destructive actions of free radicals. These free radicals are highly volatile chemical agents which damage our skin cells and tissues, etc whatever comes in their way.

Foods rich in antioxidants come under the best diets for healthy skin. The antioxidants in these foods are able to neutralize these free radicals before they can do any damage to the skin cells.

Some of the diets for healthy skin rich in antioxidants are -

1) Oranges and other citrus fruits
2) Broccoli
3) Green leafy vegetables like spinach and cabbage
4) Fruits rich in vitamin C like blueberries and cranberries
5) Fish high in proteins and omega 3’s like tuna, salmon, etc.

Besides natural diets for healthy skin, you should also consume a lot of water daily. Water helps in keeping the body cells hydrated. 8-10 glasses of water per day is something you should make a part of your health routine. Besides that, Green tea also is rich in antioxidants and helps keeping the cells hydrated.

Diets for healthy skin must exclude some ingredients also as much as possible. For example, sugar is bad for your skin youth as it harms the collagen fibers of the skin and pushes you towards premature skin aging.

Collagen and Elastin are very important for your skin health and vitality. They are the youth giving skin proteins in your body and are responsible for giving you a firm, supple, pliant and elastic skin.

As you age, the natural production of these two vital skin proteins slows down and so you suffer from skin aging symptoms like wrinkles, saggy skin, age spots and dark uneven skin complexion.

Thus diets for healthy skin should include such natural ingredients that have been clinically proven to improve the natural production of collagen and elastin in your body itself.

One of such natural ingredients that I have discovered that helps in achieving exactly this is Cynergy TK. It is a cutting edge breakthrough substance pioneered in New Zealand. It is rich in functional keratin. This form of keratin is most easily absorbed by our body.

Keratin works together with collagen and elastin in the body to keep the skin rejuvenated and young looking. Cynergy TK has been called as good as “applying liquid skin”.

Cynergy TK has proven in clinical trials on human volunteers to improve the body’s production of collagen and elastin. It also showed significant improvements in skin moisture retention and skin elasticity.

Cynergy TK is one of the best natural diets for healthy skin. It can be called the skin youth rejuvenating food. It might become a household name in a few years, but as of now it is only available in products of select niche skin care manufacturers.

My website covers other such wonderful natural ingredients that are working wonders in giving healthy and vibrant young skin naturally.

Get Free Info on Healthy Eating for Younger Looking Skin!

Posted under healthy looking skin by admin on Tuesday 16 February 2010

If you are like me, you probably know some of the best things in life are free! Here’s some free info on healthy eating for younger looking skin. Striving to meet your optimum nutritional needs is important for delaying the effects that time has on your whole body. Only meeting your minimum nutritional requirements will mean that you are only minimally healthy.

You may not have outward signs of nutritional deficiencies like scurvy, but if you aren’t getting a good amount of vitamin C in your diet, collagen fibers cannot form. They, along with your skin’s keratin-rich cells and elastin fibers, are necessary for maintaining firmness and preventing wrinkle formation.

The human body can only store small amounts of vitamin C, so levels within the bloodstream are quickly depleted. The best way to get vitamin C is to eat more fresh fruit, preferably organic. Studies have shown that organic foods contain higher amounts of antioxidants than their conventionally grown counterparts.

Here’s a little more free info on healthy eating for younger looking skin. Eat more fish. Vary the type and don’t eat anything that swims in the Atlantic Ocean. There are large amounts of mercury and other toxins in the Atlantic.

Wild salmon from Alaska is a good choice. It is one of the most nutritionally complete foods that we have, containing a variety of vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids. According to Oceans Alive, a website for the Environmental Defense Fund, adults and children can safely eat four or more meals per month, without worrying about contaminants. Researchers for the fund say that Washington salmon is “okay”, but that adults and children should eat no more than one serving per month, because of elevated levels of PCBs.

Most of the free info on healthy eating for younger looking skin that you’ll see on the internet talks about vitamin E, an essential nutrient for the skin’s health, but they rarely mention the importance of vitamin D supplementation.

Someone that is doing everything that they can to protect their skin’s health is probably using sunscreen on a regular basis. That’s a controversial subject right now, but there is no doubt that the regular use of sunscreen inhibits the body’s ability to create vitamin D. The body needs UV rays to do that and all of the sunscreens filter UV rays to some extent.

I included this information with your free info on healthy eating for younger looking skin, because vitamin D deficiencies are on the rise. It is needed by practically every system of the body. Even pediatricians are recommending vitamin D supplementation.

Focusing on your skin’s health and appearance is important, but the health of the whole body should be considered as well. That’s why you will see more and more experts recommending the avoidance of personal care products that contain toxins, artificial preservatives, dyes and other hazardous materials.

Now that you have a little free info on healthy eating for younger looking skin, you might also want to learn about some new creams that help delay and repair wrinkles, safely.
